| CRC, International Archaeology & Ecology, LLC (CRC) is an international terrestrial and submerged cultural and natural resource consulting firm located in Houston and Galveston, Texas, and Lafayette, Louisiana. CRC is certified to operate in all 50 States, possessions and territories of the USA, North, and South America, and meets the United States Federal and State guidelines for a woman-owned small business. CRC is prepared to undertake all types of terrestrial or marine cultural resource, ground penetrating radar, magnetometer, and terrain conductivity studies for environmentally sensitive projects - and with immediate response. Since our inception in 1993, we have built a reputation for high quality and cost effective work. Our main office is located in Galveston, Texas, with offices in Houston, Texas and Lafayette, Louisiana.
In addition to excellent technical skills, one of CRC's best attributes is our business approach to Cultural Resource Management. We understand Balance Sheets, P & L's, Budgets, and the day-to-day concerns of business people. We strive to wed the client's budgetary limitations, in time and money, to superior archaeology. This is not always an easy task. We believe, however, that by initiating innovative methodologies and systems which will pass muster under the National Historic Preservation Act, constraining our efforts to the requirements of the applicable regulations, minimizing overhead, and employing only skilled, degreed, field crews, our clients will be well served. Through efficiency and dedication to superior work standards, we pay our archaeology field crews 25-45% more than the national average - a sound investment in efficiency for our clients and our company. (Source: http://www.acra-crm.org/crmstats1996.html#Salaries.html - June 01, 2005.) We are always aware of our duty to walk that fine line between good science and good economics - and we do it with pride.
CRC aggressively employs the latest information technology - in the Field and Office. This technology includes not only office automation and archaeological analyses, but also Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems - Differential Corrected (DGPS), digital terrain models (DTM), Environmental Predictive Models, and on-line communications and data collection between the Field and Office with Integral Base Station (IBS) and mobile laboratory service
CRC, LLC welcomes the opportunity to team with other professional service organizations in the pursuit of contract solicitations. By combining efforts with compatible organizations, both parties benefit from this opportunity.
Utilizing these diverse capabilities allows the best technical and management approaches to be provided for the client. Teaming Agreements allow for a more robust pool of knowledge and expertise to fully respond to the clients' specific agenda. In offering combined, quality service, both parties are better able to fulfill the requirements of bundled federal, state, and private party contracts.
